ARLINGTON, Texas, June 3 (UPI) -- Casey Blake hammered two homers, driving in seven runs that lifted the Cleveland Indians to a 13-9 victory over the Texas Rangers Monday.

The output tied Blake's career best for a game in those categories. He finished with three hits on the night as the Indians stopped a two-game losing streak.

Ben Francisco and David Dellucci each added two-run homers for Cleveland, while Jhonny Peralta had a three-hit night.

Starter Aaron Laffey didn't figure in the decision, giving up eight runs in five innings. The win went to Masa Kobayashi (3-2), who limited the Rangers to one run over 1 2/3 innings.

Texas got a grand slam from Marlon Byrd and a two-run shot from Josh Hamilton. The Rangers' 15-hit performance also included three hits each from Ian Kinsler and Michael Young.

Texas starter Doug Mathis gave up eight runs on 12 hits in 3 2/3 innings. But Eddie Guardado (0-1) was tagged with the loss after surrendering one run in the seventh inning.
