MLS: Colorado 2, FC Dallas 1

COMMERCE CITY, Colo., June 1 (UPI) -- Tom McManus scored the winning goal for the Colorado Rapids Sunday in a 2-1 Major League Soccer victory over FC Dallas.

The win moved the Rapids into first place in the Western Conference.

McManus broke a 1-1 tie in the 72nd minute with a shot inside the near post.

Conor Casey scored the other Colorado goal, seven minutes into the match. Casey took a pass from Christian Gomez and fired a low shot inside the far post to put Colorado ahead 1-0.

FC Dallas tied the score just before the end of the first half on a goal by Dominic Oduro.
