ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., June 1 (UPI) -- A solo home run by Gabe Gross in the bottom of the 10th inning Sunday lifted Tampa Bay to a 4-3 win over the Chicago White Sox.

It was the second time this weekend Tampa Bay won with a walk-off solo homer. Designated hitter Cliff Floyd hit one Friday night in a 2-1 victory.

Gross also hit a game-tying two-run triple in the fifth Sunday.

Carlos Pena had one RBI and Shawn Riggans also had two hits for the AL East-leading Rays, who have won three in a row.

Winner J.P. Howell (4-0) pitched two scoreless innings.

Chicago's Alexei Ramirez had three hits and two RBI. Orlando Cabrera drove in a run.

A.J. Pierzynski also had three hits and Jim Thome two for the White Sox, who left 10 men on base and went 3-4 in a seven-game road trip.

The losing pitcher was Matt Thornton (1-1).
