MLB: Boston 9, Baltimore 4

BALTIMORE, June 1 (UPI) -- Manny Ramirez and J.D. Drew homered and Bartolo Como won his third straight start for the Boston Red Sox Sunday in a 9-4 victory over the Baltimore Orioles.

Ramirez hit a two-run shot in the fourth inning, the 501st homer of his career, and finished with three RBI. Drew hit a solo homer in the seventh and also drove in three runs.

Colon (3-0) worked six-plus innings, allowing four runs on seven hits, in Boston's third straight win.

Luke Scott smacked a two-run home run for Baltimore, which has lost four in a row.

Brian Burres (4-5) took the loss, giving up seven runs on 12 hits in four innings.
