Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

PITTSBURGH, May 31 (UPI) -- Jiri Hudler's third-period goal Saturday gave the Detroit Red Wings a 2-1 win over Pittsburgh and a 3-1 lead in the Stanley Cup Finals.
Nicklas Lidstrom had the other goal for the Red Wings, who are one win away from nailing down their fourth Stanley Cup since the 1996-97 season.
Chris Osgood stopped 22-of-23 shots for his 13th win of the post-season.
Marian Hossa scored the lone goal for the Penguins, who lost on home ice for the first time in 10 post-season games in Pittsburgh.
Penguins' goalie Marc-Andre Fleury made 28 saves.
Game 5 of the best-of-seven series is set for Monday in Detroit.
