MLB: Toronto 10, LA Angels 4

ANAHEIM, Calif., May 31 (UPI) -- Lyle Overbay homered twice Friday and the Toronto Blue Jays pounded out 16 hits in winning their fourth straight game -- 10-4 over the Los Angeles Angels.

Overbay hit solo home runs in the first and seventh innings and also contributed an RBI single during Toronto's four-run fifth -- an outburst that gave the Blue Jays a 7-3 cushion.

Dustin McGowan (4-4), who limited Kansas City to a lone run in his previous outing, got the win by giving up three runs on seven hits in six innings.

Jered Weaver (4-6) was roughed up for 10 hits and six runs in four innings. Weaver had defeated the Blue Jays the other two times he had faced them.

Scott Rolen and Brad Wilkerson both drove in two runs each for the Blue Jays.
