
OAKLAND, Calif., May 29 (UPI) -- By extending his scoreless innings streak to 16 on Thursday, right-hander Jesse Litsch led Toronto's easy 12-0 victory at Oakland.
Litsch (7-1) walked one batter, struck out three and 73 of his 108 pitches were strikes.
Relievers Jesse Carlson and Shawn Camp threw one scoreless inning apiece and Brad Wilkeron's second inning sacrifice fly produced the only needed run.
Toronto's Rod Barajas had three hits, three RBI and scored twice.
Three players drove in two runs and three others one.
Kevin Mench and Shannon Stewart also had three hits, with Stewart belting a solo home run in the ninth.
Aaron Hill and David Eckstein added two hits each for the Blue Jays, who won the final two contests in the three-game series.
Jack Hanahan had three hits and Emil Brown two for the Athletics, whose two straight losses follow a five-game winning streak.
Losing pitcher Dana Eveland (4-4) surrendered seven earned runs and 11 hits in 4 1/3 innings.
