BALTIMORE, May 28 (UPI) -- Baltimore trimmed the N.Y. Yankees 10-9 in a rain-delayed game Tuesday, thanks to RBI hits by Aubrey Huff and Alex Cintron in the bottom of the 11th inning.

The Yankees had edged ahead 9-8 in the top of the 11th when Hideki Matsui drove in Johnny Damon with two outs.

Baltimore's game-winning comeback came against LaTroy Hawkins, who gave up a lead-off single to Melvin Mora and two outs later an RBI double to Huff. Hawkins then intentionally walked Luke Scott and Kevin Millar to load the bases and Cintron followed with a long fly over the head of shallow-playing Bobby Abreu to score Huff.

Millar hit two home runs for three RBI, Mora cranked a two-run homer and Ramon Hernandez added a solo homer.

Orioles starter Brian Burres lasted just 3 2/3 innings, giving up eight runs. Albers (3-1) got the win, giving up one run over the 10th and 11th frames.

Damon hit a three-run homer for the Yankees. Jason Giambi and Rodriguez both hit solo homers and Abreu hit a two-run shot.

New York starter Ian Kennedy gave up four runs in three innings but left with a strained muscle. Hawkins (1-1) was the loser.
