An MRI exam last week revealed fluid and a soft tear in the cartilage of the right knee. Jones is expected to miss the next four to six weeks while he rehabilitates the knee.

Jones, a 10-time Gold Glove winner, is batting .167 with two home runs and seven RBI in his first year in Los Angeles. Jones signed a two-year, $36.2 million contract in the off-season after spending 12 years with the Atlanta Braves.
