Gregor Blanco, starting in center field in place of Mark Kotsay, was 3-for-3 with a walk and a run scored for the Braves, who completed their longest homestand of the season with an 8-3 record.

Manny Acosta (3-1) got the win with two perfect innings in relief. Braves starter Jair Jurrjens allowed three runs on eight hits in 4 2/3 innnings.

Webb struck out eight batters in 4 1/3 innings, but gave up seven runs on 10 hits and three walks.
