MLB: Philadelphia 15, Houston 6

HOUSTON, May 25 (UPI) -- Philadelphia pounded Houston pitchers for 16 hits Sunday, including homers by Geoff Jenkins, Pat Burrell and Chase Utley, in a 15-6 rout of the Astros.

Jenkins had three hits and scored three runs for the Phillies, who had nine extra-base hits.

Reliever Rudy Seanez, who pitched a scoreless fifth inning, got the win.

Philadelphia starter Cole Hamels left in the fourth after giving up six runs and seven hits. Hamels had begun the game with a streak of 19 scoreless innings.

Carlos Lee clouted a home run and drove in four runs for Houston.

The Astros' bullpen allowed 11 runs, four by Fernando Nieve (0-1), who took the loss.
