WASHINGTON, May 24 (UPI) -- Major League Soccer MVP Luciano Emilio scored the winning goal Saturday to give D.C. United a 3-2 victory over Toronto FC.

D.C. United ended a seven-game scoring drought and a four-game losing streak.

Emilio, who led the MLS with 20 goals last season, scored in the 72nd minute, less than 90 seconds after Jaime Moreno tied the match by increasing his league record to 116 career goals.

D.C. (3-7-0), which also got a goal from defender Gonzalo Peralta, won for just the third time this season.

Toronto (4-3-2) had its franchise record six-match unbeaten streak snapped.

Danny Dichio scored both goals for Toronto FC.
