Former NBA player Orlando Woolridge arrested for theft


ISTANBUL, Turkey, May 23 (UPI) -- Elena Dementieva and Agnieszka Radwanska, the tournament's top two seeds, Friday advanced to the finals of the $200,000 Istanbul Cup.
Dementieva was a solid 6-2, 6-4 winner over Akgul Amanmuradova while Radwanska outlasted Tsvetana Pironkova, 7-6 (7-1), 3-6, 6-1, in Friday's semifinals.
Dementieva and Radwanska have split their previous two matches but Dementieva won the only time the pair faced off on a clay court. The Istanbul Cup, the final tuneup before the French Open and also played on clay, opens Sunday.
Radwanska is 2-0 in career title matches while Dementieva has appeared in 21 previous title matches, winning nine.
The winner of Saturday title match will collect $30,500.
