MLB: Colorado 4, San Francisco 3

DENVER, May 20 (UPI) -- Clint Barmes ran his hitting streak to 12 games Monday with two hits, including a solo homer, to lead the Colorado Rockies past the Giants 4-3.

Garrett Atkins had two hits, one RBI and one run scored, Matt Holliday had two hits and scored a run and Yorvit Torrealba stroked a two-run double for the Rockies who have bounced back from a six-game losing streak to win three straight.

Colorado starter Jorge De La Rosa went 5 1/3 innings, allowing three runs -- two earned -- on four hits.

Jason Grilli (1-1) gave up one hit in two-thirds of an inning to get the win. Brian Fuentes pitched a scoreless ninth to get his sixth save.

Randy Winn extended his hitting streak to 14 games with two hits -- including a solo homer -- drove in two and scored twice. Fred Lewis had two triples and scored a run and Rich Aurilia had an RBI for the Giants, who have lost six straight.

Pat Misch started for the Giants and allowed three runs on five hits in 5 1/3 innings.

Vinnie Chulk (0-3) pitched two-thirds of an inning in relief, allowing one run on one hit -- Torrealba's sixth-inning double -- to take the loss.
