MLB: Washington 4, Philadelphia 0

WASHINGTON, May 19 (UPI) -- Tim Redding pitched 6 1/3 shutout innings and Lastings Milledge had two doubles and two RBI Monday to lead the Washington Nationals past Philadelphia 4-0.

Redding (6-3) scattered seven hits for the Nationals, who shut out the Phillies for the second time this season. Washington also did it April 2, with Redding as the starter, when he pitched seven one-hit innings.

Shane Victorino, Chase Utley and Geoff Jenkins each had two hits for Philadelphia.

Brett Myers (2-5) held Washington to three runs on eight hits and three walks in six innings. The Phillies, though, left nine men on base and suffered their third straight loss.
