
SAN FRANCISCO, May 18 (UPI) -- Orlando Cabrera hit two home runs and Nick Swisher drilled a three-run double Sunday, leading the Chicago White Sox over the San Francisco Giants 13-8.
The Sox, who have won five straight games, scored seven runs in the last two innings -- the big blow being Swisher's double in the eighth.
Chicago pounded Giants' pitching for 15 hits.
Cabrera hit a solo homer in the sixth inning and a two-run blast in the seventh. Carlos Quentin and Joe Crede also homered for the White Sox.
Ray Durham, Jose Castillo and Bengie Molina each drove in two runs for the Giants, who have lost five straight games.
Reliever Matt Thornton (1-0) pitched two-thirds of an inning and got the win. Tyler Walker (1-2) allowed four hits and three runs in one inning and was tagged with the loss.
