BRIDGEVIEW, Ill., May 17 (UPI) -- Ricardo Clark and Bobby Boswell scored goals Saturday to lead the Houston Dynamo past Chicago 2-1 and into second place in the MLS Western Conference.

Clark scored his first goal of the season in the 17th minute when his long range shot skipped off two players before hitting the back of the net behind Chicago goalkeeper Jon Busch.

The Fire (5-2-1), who came into the game on a three-game winning streak, tied the score 11 minutes later when Calen Carr relayed a Cuauhtemoc Blanco free kick past Pat Onstad.

Boswell got the winning goal -- his first goal of the campaign -- in the 82nd minute.

It was the second straight victory for the two-time MLS defending champions, who had started the season 0-2-3.
