Allmendinger wins Sprint Showdown

CONCORD, N.C., May 17 (UPI) -- A.J. Allmendinger and Sam Hornish Jr. finished one-two Saturday in the Sprint Showdown at the Lowe's Motor Speedway in Concord, N.C.

Allmendinger and Hornish Jr. -- along with one fan-voted driver -- were added to the 21 cars already entered into Saturday night's Sprint Cup All-Star race.
