DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., May 12 (UPI) -- Annika Sorenstam's runaway victory in the Michelob Ultra Open was good for only a slight gain on world No. 1 Lorena Ochoa in the world golf rankings Monday.

Sorenstam won the Virginia tournament -- her third victory of the year and 72nd of her career -- by seven strokes and was 12 ahead of Ochoa. But the Mexican player, who has won five events in 2008, held solidly onto the top spot in the rankings, which are done by Rolex for the women's world golf tours.

Sorenstam, who held the No. 1 ranking for years until Ochoa replaced her, is back on a winning track this season after a winless 2007, when she was troubled by injuries.

Suzann Pettersen, Paula Creamer and Karrie Webb complete the top five this week.

Ranked six-through-10 are Cristie Kerr, Ji-Yai Shin, Jeong Jang, Jee Young Lee and Juli Inkster.
