
NEW YORK, May 12 (UPI) -- Winning pitcher Odalis Perez went 3-for-3 with two RBI Monday in the Washington Nationals' 10-4 victory over the New York Mets.
Perez (1-3) had only two hits in 13 previous at-bats this year. He gave up four runs on 11 hits in 6 1/3 innings on the mound.
Jesus Flores doubled, had two RBI and scored two runs for the Nationals; Nick Johnson scored three runs and drove in one in; Lastings Milledge doubled, scored and had two RBI; and Rob Mackowiak added two runs and an RBI for Washington.
Damion Easley went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI for the Mets. David Wright hit a solo homer and scored twice, and Carlos Beltran had two hits and one RBI.
Nelson Figueroa (2-3) lasted five innings. He allowed six runs on five hits and five walks.
