ARLINGTON, Texas, May 11 (UPI) -- Milton Bradley had two hits and three RBI Saturday, powering Texas' 6-4 victory over the Oakland Athletics.
The volatile designated hitter burned his former team with an RBI double in the bottom of the first inning and a two-run homer in the third.
Ian Kinsler, Josh Hamilton and German Duran each had one RBI. Hamilton had three hits, and Bradley, Kinsler and Michael Young had two hits for the Rangers, who have won five in a row.
They lost starter Kevin Millwood to a right groin strain in the first inning. The winner was Josh Rupe (1-1).
Oakland's Frank Thomas hit a two-run double in the ninth to close the gap to the final score. Mike Sweeney had one RBI and a run scored on Kinsler's third inning throwing error.
Emil Brown and Bobby Crosby had two hits each for the Athletics, who lost two straight.
The losing pitcher was starter Dana Eveland (3-3).
