
PITTSBURGH, May 10 (UPI) -- Jason Bay's two-run, fourth-inning homer was the big hit Saturday in the Pittsburgh Pirates' 5-2 victory over Atlanta.
His seventh round-tripper this season erased a 2-1 deficit and put Pittsburgh on top for good.
Ronny Paulino drove in three runs with a sacrifice fly in the second and a two-run double in the sixth.
Jason Michaels had three of the six hits for the Pirates, who have won the first two games of the three-game weekend series at PNC Park.
Winner Tom Gorzelanny (3-3) surrendered two earned runs on seven hits in 7 1/3 innings. Closer Matt Capps earned his ninth save with a 1-2-3 ninth.
Mark Texeira drove in Atlanta's with a two-run homer in the top of the first.
Omar Infante had three hits and Texeira two for the Braves, who have lost two in a row following a six-game winning streak.
Losing pitcher Chuck James (2-2) surrendered five earned runs on five hits in six innings.
