MLB: Cincinnati 7, N.Y. Mets 1

NEW YORK, May 10 (UPI) -- Scott Hatteberg's three hits and three RBI keyed Cincinnati's 7-1 rout of the New York Mets and a double-header split at Shea Stadium.

He drove in one run each in the sixth, eighth and ninth innings.

Paul Bako had two hits and two RBI. Jeff Keppinger and Ken Griffey Jr. both drove in one run.

Keppinger had a single-game career high five hits and Griffey had two hits for the Reds, who have split their last four games.

Winner Brandon Arroyo (2-4) was charged with an earned run on four hits in eight innings with walk and nine strikeouts.

New York's lone run was produced by David Wright's third-inning single.

Jose Reyes, Carlos Beltran and Carlos Delgado had the other hits for the Mets, who won the opener 12-6 after Friday's rain-out.

Losing pitcher Mike Pelfrey (2-3) surrendered two earned runs on eight hits in six innings.
