Winner Ricky Nolasco (2-3) yielded an earned run and just four hits in six innings with two walks and six strikeouts.
Cristian Guzman, Nick Johnson and Wily Mo Pena each drove in a run for Washington. Guzman, Johnson and Lastings Milledge each had two hits for the Nationals, who have dropped three of four.
