MLB: Chicago Cubs 3, Cincinnati 0

CINCINNATI, May 6 (UPI) -- Carlos Zambrano pitched eight shutout innings Tuesday, pacing the Chicago Cubs to a 3-0 victory over the Cincinnati Reds.

Zambrano (5-1) allowed three hits and struck out three with three walks for the Cubs. Ronny Cedeno drove in two runs and Aramis Ramirez had an RBI and a run scored in the victory.

Ken Griffey had two hits for the Reds, who lost for the sixth time in their last seven games. Aaron Harang (1-5) suffered the loss after surrendering three runs on seven hits with six strikeouts over seven innings.
