The goal ended the eighth-longest game in NHL playoff game history and the longest so far this playoff season.
San Jose's Brian Campbell was called for tripping 8:14 into the fourth sudden-death period, giving the Stars' power play a chance. The Stars' Mike Ribeiro, moving along the left boards, made a cross-ice pass to Stephane Robidas.
He faked a shot and then found Morrow, who redirected Robidas' pass past Sharks goaltender Evgeni Nabokov for the win.
The goal gave Dallas the series 4-2 and set up a best-of-seven Western Conference finals against Detroit. That series begins Thursday.
Dallas goaltender Marty Turco set a team record with 61 saves. The only goal he allowed was from Ryan Clowe early in the third period.
The Stars' regulation-time goal was by Antti Miettinen who drilled home a rebound off Nabokov 4:49 into the second period.
