HOUSTON, May 4 (UPI) -- Hunter Pence's two-run homer in the bottom of the 12th inning Sunday delivered Houston an 8-6 win over Milwaukee and a three-game sweep.
It was his only hit in six at-bats.
The game went to extra innings when Lance Berkman's walk with the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth created a 6-6 tie.
Berkman had four hits, four RBI and scored twice, while Kaz Matsui had two hits and two RBI for the Astros, who have won four of their last five contests.
The winner, despite walking three batters in the top of the 12th inning, was Tim Byrdak (1-0).
Milwaukee's Mike Cameron hit a solo homer in the third and a three-run blast in the fourth.
Corey Hart and starter Ben Sheets both drove in one run and, like Cameron, Hart and Prince Fielder had two hits for the Brewers, who have dropped four of five.
The losing pitcher was Mitch Stetter (1-1).
