MLS: Houston 0, Chivas USA 0 (tie)

HOUSTON, May 3 (UPI) -- Chivas USA ended a three-match losing streak Saturday to keep the Houston Dynamo winless in Major League Soccer play with a 0-0 tie.

Chivas USA goalie Brad Guzan got his first shutout of the season. Guzan, who nearly transferred to Aston Villa in the English Premiership before the season, had allowed 13 goals in five games.

Chivas USA (1-3-2) handed Houston (0-2-4) its fourth shutout of this season.

Houston has failed to score in three of its last four games.
