ANAHEIM, Calif., May 2 (UPI) -- Jack Cust had four hits, including a homer, and scored three runs Thursday night and the Oakland A's unloaded for 20 hits in a 15-8 win over the LA Angels.

Kurt Suzuki, Daric Barton, Frank Thomas, Bobby Crosby and Ryan Sweeney each drove in a pair of runs for Oakland, which scored 15 runs even though only two of its hits went for extra bases.

Suzuki, Barton, Thomas, Crosby and Emil Brown each scored twice for Oakland, which salvaged a split of the four-game series in Anaheim.

The A's batted around in the second inning and then sent 14 batters to the plate in the fifth, when they scored eight runs to break the game open.

Justin Duchscherer (2-1) yielded six runs on six hits but still got the win.

Erik Aybar and Mike Napoli homered for the Angels. Aybar had two hits, drove in three runs and scored twice, while Napoli had two hits, two runs and two RBI.

Nick Adenhart, making his first league appearance, gave up five walks -- including four consecutive passes in the second inning -- before being replaced by Dustin Moseley (1-3), who gave up five runs on seven hits to take the loss.
