No. 2 seed advances in Morocco

FES, Morocco, May 1 (UPI) -- Second-seeded Gisela Dulko coasted in the second round of the Moroccan Grand Prix Thursday with a 6-3, 6-2 victory over Emilie Loit.

Dulko earned a quarterfinal berth in this tune-up for the French Open and will meet Sorana Cirstea, who was a 6-4, 6-2 winner over Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova.

The tournament's fourth seed, Aravane Rezai, also made it to the quarterfinals, defeating Rossana De Los Rios 7-6 (7-2), 6-0. Rezai's quarterfinal opponent will be Alisa Kleybanova -- who ousted Arina Rodionova 6-7 (3-7), 6-3, 6-4.

The other quarterfinal matches will send No. 1 seed Anabel Medina Garrigues against Olga Savchuk and Greta Arn against Petra Cetkovska.
