NBA: LA Lakers 102, Denver 84

DENVER, April 26 (UPI) -- Kobe Bryant had 22 points, eight assists and seven rebounds Saturday and the LA Lakers beat Denver 102-84 to take a 3-0 lead in their Western quarterfinal.

Game 4 is schuleded for Monday in Denver.

Five Lakers were in double-figures, with Luke Walton scoring 15 points, Pau Gasol and Derek Fisher 14 each and Lamar Odom 12.

Denver's Allen Iverson and Carmelo Anthony -- who ranked third and fourth on the NBA's regular-season scoring list -- shot a combined 10-for-38 from the floor. Iverson scored 15 points, Anthony had 16 points and 10 rebounds and Linas Kleiza had 15 points and nine rebounds.

Denver faces being eliminated in the first round of the playoffs for the fifth straight season.
