SEATTLE, April 26 (UPI) -- Huston Street finished off a clutch effort by Oakland's relief corps Friday, bringing the Athletics a 4-3 victory over Seattle.

Oakland won for the sixth time in seven games.

The A's took a 4-1 lead through three innings and starter Dana Eveland (3-1) eventually allowed three runs on six hits over 5 1/3 innings to get the win.

Santiago Casilla, Alan Embree and Andrew Brown combined with Street to give up two hits over 3 1/3 innings. Street worked the ninth for his seventh save.

Oakland batted around in the first against Miguel Batista (2-3), who left the bases loaded after giving up three runs. He was removed from the game after walking Kurt Suzuki to lead off the second.

Suzuki began the first with a single, Daric Barton drew a walk and Mark Ellis popped out. Frank Thomas, making his second appearance after being by the A's signed off waivers, singled in Suzuki. Jack Cust walked to load the bases and Emil Brown also walked to force in Barton.

Batista then uncorked a wild pitch, allowing Thomas to score. Bobby Crosby walked to again load the bases, but Mike Sweeney and Donnie Murphy both struck out to prevent further damage.
