MILWAUKEE, April 26 (UPI) -- Prince Fielder's solo homer in the bottom of the eighth Saturday gave the Milwaukee Brewers a 4-3 win over the Florida Marlins.

Florida had created a 3-3 tie in top of the inning on Jason Willingham's RBI groundout.

Fielder also hit an RBI single in the third and scored three times.

Like Fielder, Bill Hall and Corey Hart had two hits for the Brewers, who broke a two-game skid.

Salomon Torres (3-0) was the winner despite his first blown save this season. Eric Gagne earned his seventh save.

Florida got a leadoff homer from Hanley Ramirez in the top of the first and Dan Uggla's sacrifice fly in the fifth. Uggla, Ramirez and Willingham all had two hits for the Marlins, whose 14-10 record leads the National League East Division.

The losing pitcher was Renyel Pinto (1-1).
