WASHINGTON, April 24 (UPI) -- DeShawn Stevenson's five three-pointers led a balanced attack Thursday that sent Washington storming past Cleveland 108-72 in Game 3 of their playoff series.
Stevenson finished with 19 points and the Cavaliers melted away in the second half, allowing the Wizards to narrow their deficit to 2-1 in the best-of-seven confrontation.
Washington will try to even the series in Game 4 Sunday at home.
The Wizards were one-sided victims in each of the first two games, but they limited Cleveland to 39 percent shooting and turned the game into a rout by outscoring the Cavaliers in the second half 59-39.
Roger Mason added 18 points for Washington. Caron Butler had 17, Antawn Jamison 15 and Brendan Haywood 14. The Wizards made 52 percent of their shots.
LeBron James scored 22 for Cleveland, but Devin Brown was the only other member of the Cavaliers in double figures with 10.
