
TORONTO, April 21 (UPI) -- Ryan Raburn, Edgar Renteria and Ivan Rodriguez supplied the power Monday to lead the Detroit Tigers to a 5-1 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays.
Raburn had two RBI and a run, Renteria had a homer and two runs and Rodriguez had four hits and an RBI.
Armando Galarraga (2-0) gave up three hits and four walks over 5 1/3 scoreless innings to win his second straight start for Detroit.
Gregg Zaun had a solo home run for the Blue Jays.Shawn Marcum (2-1) gave up five runs on five hits and four walks in 5 2/3 innings. The Tigers scored four of their runs in the second inning.
After Galarraga left, Clay Rapada, Aquilino Lopez and Denny Bautista gave up two hits and no runs through the eighth inning. After Zaun's first homer of the season in the ninth, Todd Jones got the next three batters out.
