MLB: Houston 6, Colorado 4

HOUSTON, April 20 (UPI) -- Kaz Matsui's two-run eighth-inning single gave the Houston Astros the lead en route to a 6-4 victory Sunday over the Colorado Rockies.

Matsui also scored two runs for the Astros, who ended a three-game slide. Miguel Tejada drove in a run and scored another for Houston.

Wesley Wright (2-0) was the winning pitcher in relief.

Garrett Atkins belted a solo home run and Brad Hawpe and Matt Holliday had three hits each for Colorado, which had won its previous four contests.

Brian Fuentes (0-1) gave up three runs in relief for the Rockies and took the loss.
