TORONTO, April 19 (UPI) -- Laurent Robert scored the game's only goal Saturday when Toronto FC posted a 1-0 Major League Soccer win over Real Salt Lake.

Robert, a 32-year-old former French international, got the goal on a free kick in the first half in Toronto's second consecutive victory.

Toronto added veteran strength this month with Robert, midfielder Amado Guevara and right winger Rohan Ricketts.

Toronto allowed only one goal in the first 45 minutes, on a shot by midfielder Javier Morales.

Toronto got its goal just after the half-hour mark when Guevara was taken down outside the Salt Lake penalty area by defender Matias Mantilla to earn a free kick.
