ATLANTA, April 19 (UPI) -- Mark Teixeira's two-run single Saturday helped the Atlanta Braves beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 4-1.
The hit, one of two for Atlanta's first baseman, erased a 1-0 deficit with one out in the bottom of the fifth inning. Jeff Francoeur hit an RBI groundout and Mark Kotsay added an RBI single in the same inning.
Kotsay and Gregor Blanco had two hits for the Braves, who have followed three straight losses with a three-game winning streak.
Winner Chuck James (1-1) yielded an earned run and four hits in five innings.
Jorge Campillo pitched two scoreless innings, Blaine Boyer one, and Manny Acosta earned his first major league save after giving up a hit in the ninth.
Former Brave Andruw Jones accounted for Los Angeles' lone run with a solo homer in the top of the second, his first round-tripper this season.
Another former Brave, Rafael Furcal, had two hits for the Dodgers, who have lost four of six.
The losing pitcher was starter Chad Billingsley (0-3).
