MLB: N.Y. Mets 6, Philadelphia 4

PHILADELPHIA, April 18 (UPI) -- David Wright had four hits and Johan Santana struck out 10 in seven-plus innings Friday, helping send the New York Mets past Philadelphia 6-4.

Santana (2-2) gave up three runs on four hits without a walk. The Mets took a 5-1 lead into the eighth before reliever Aaron Heilman gave up a three-run homer to Greg Dobbs.

Billy Wagner came on in the ninth to pick up his third save.

It was the Mets' fourth straight win and their seventh in nine games.

Wright had two doubles, Brian Schneider went three for four and Ryan Church scored three times.

Cole Hamels (2-2) took the loss, giving up five runs on eight hits with three walks in seven-plus innings.
