BALTIMORE, April 17 (UPI) -- Adam Jones singled in Kevin Millar from second with one out in the 10th inning Thursday, giving the Baltimore Orioles a 6-5 win over the Chicago White Sox.
Baltimore rallied for two runs in the ninth off Bobby Jenks and then won it against Boone Logan (1-1) to halt a two-game skid.
The victory went to George Sherrill (1-0), who worked the top of the 10th as part of a four-inning shutout effort by the Orioles' relief corps.
After Logan gave up walks to Millar and Luke Scott in the 10th, Aubrey Huff flew out to deep left. Jones then hit a 1-0 pitch into left to score Millar.
Guillermo Quiroz kicked off the two-run ninth with a one-out, infield single and he was forced at second by Ramon Hernandez.
Down to their last out, the Orioles got a run-scoring double from Brian Roberts, who then scored on Melvin Mora's single.
Baltimore also got a two-run homer from Nick Markakis.
Carlos Quentin homered twice for the White Sox, who had won their two previous games.
