Blake reaches quarters in U.S. Clay Court

HOUSTON, April 17 (UPI) -- Top-seeded James Blake coasted into the quarterfinals of the U.S. Men's Clay Court Championships Thursday by downing Ryan Harrison 6-3, 6-2.

Blake's quarterfinal opponent will be Agustin Calleri, who was a 6-2, 6-1 winner over Paul Capdeville.

Marcos Daniel also advanced with a 7-6 (7-3), 6-2 victory over two-time Olympic gold medalist Nicolas Massu and Sergio Roitman eliminated Igor Kunitsyn 6-3, 7-6 (7-3).

A previously determined quarterfinal will send Mardy Fish against Oscar Hernandez Friday.
