MOSCOW, April 16 (UPI) -- Svetlana Kuznetsova leads Russia in its Fed Cup semifinal against the United States next week in Moscow.

Vania King, ranked No. 112, was finalized by U.S. captain Zina Garrison late Wednesday. The American squad includes unknowns Ahsha Rolle, Madison Brengle and World No. 1 doubles player Liezel Huber.

Veterans Lindsay Davenport and Serena and Venus Williams all were unavailable.

King's Fed Cup record is 1-2.

Kuznetsova, No. 4 in the latest world rankings, will be joined by seventh-ranked Anna Chakvetadze, 13th-ranked Dinara Safina and Elena Vesnina (44).

In February, the Russians topped Israel 4-1 while the U.S. beat Germany by a similar score.

It will be the seventh Fed Cup meeting between the two nations.

The U.S. leads the all-time series 4-2 but Russia won the last encounter 3-2 in the 2007 semifinal at Stowe, Vt.

In that matchup, King lost to Chakvetadze, 6-1 6-3.
