NBA: LA Lakers 124, Sacramento 101

LOS ANGELES, April 16 (UPI) -- Pau Gasol and Kobe Bryant combined for 42 points in the Los Angeles Lakers' 124-101 regular-season-ending win over the Sacramento Kings Tuesday.

Gasol finished with 22 points and Bryant had 20 as the top-seeded Lakers won their fourth straight heading into the first-round playoff series against Denver. Lamar Odom added 15 points and 12 rebounds, while Vladimir Radmanovic had 14 points, Jordan Farmar 13 and Ronny Turiaf 10 in the win.

Quincy Douby scored a game-high 32 points off the bench for the Kings, who ended their season with consecutive losses. Beno Udrih led three other Kings in double figures with 22 points.

Sacramento was without Kevin Martin (strained right knee) and Ron Artest (thumb).

The Lakers led 34-27 after the first quarter and were in control 62-48 at halftime. It was more of the same in the third quarter and Los Angeles took a 101-72 lead into the final quarter
