MLB: Chicago Cubs 12, Cincinnati 3

CHICAGO, April 16 (UPI) -- Derrek Lee had three hits Wednesday, including his second homer in as many games, powering the Chicago Cubs' 12-3 blasting of Cincinnati.

Kosuke Fukudome, Mark DeRosa and Geovany Soto each had a two-run double as part of a 13-hit attack. The Cubs have won the opening two games of the series by a combined score of 21-8.

Carlos Zambrano (2-1) got the win by giving up two runs on eight hits over seven innings.

Cincinnati has lost five in a row. Josh Fogg (1-2) lasted only two-plus innings, surrendering nine runs on seven hits.

Fukudome and DeRosa had back-to-back doubles in a four-run first inning. The Cubs added six runs in the third with Lee hitting a lead-off homer.
