OAKLAND, Calif., April 15 (UPI) -- Shaquille O'Neal had 19 points and 15 rebounds Monday night when the Phoenix Suns beat Golden State 122-116, ending the Warriors' playoffs hopes.

Amare Stoudemire scored 28 points, Steve Nash had 13 points and 14 assists and Leandro Barbosa scored 19 for the Suns -- who are tied with the Utah Jazz and the Houston Rockets at 54-27 for the fourth-best record in the Western Conference.

Grant Hill scored 12 points for Phoenix before re-injuring his groin and leaving the game in the second quarter.

The Jazz beat Houston Monday 105-96.

Stephen Jackson led Golden State with 23 points.

The Warriors were eliminated from playoff contention, ending the day one game behind the Denver Nuggets for the eighth spot. Golden State and Denver could wind up with identical records, but the Nuggets hold the tiebreaker.
