NBA: Boston 99, New York 93

NEW YORK, April 14 (UPI) -- Rajon Rondo had 23 points and 10 rebounds and Sam Cassell score 22 Monday to lead the Boston Celtics to a 99-93 win over the New York Knicks.

The Celtics, who had already clinched homecourt advantage throughout the Eastern Conference playoffs, played without stars Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen.

James Posey added 15 points for the Celtics, who have won three straight and 10 of their last 11 games.

Nate Robinson scored 26 points, Zach Randolph had 15 points and eight rebounds, and David Lee 12 points and 16 rebounds for the Knicks, who posted their worst-ever home record at 15-26.
