MLB: Boston 6, Cleveland 4

CLEVELAND, April 14 (UPI) -- Manny Ramirez hit a two-run homer in the ninth inning Monday to give the Boston Red Sox a 6-4 victory over the Cleveland Indians.

Kevin Youkilis was 3-for-4 with a solo home run and two RBI for the Red Sox, who have won three of their last four games. Dustin Pedroia also drove in two runs and scored once.

Mike Timlin (1-1) earned the win with a scoreless eighth inning in relief. Starter Jon Lester lasted 4 1/3 innings and gave up four runs on five hits and five walks.

Travis Hafner drove in two runs for the Indians, who have lost four of five. Victor Martinez and Ryan Garko each drove in a run.

Joe Borowski (0-2) suffered the loss after a blown save. He was charged with four hits and three runs over two-thirds of an inning.

Starter Jake Westbrook allowed two runs on seven hits in 6 1/3 innings.
