BOSTON, April 13 (UPI) --
The Boston Bruins cut their Eastern Conference playoff deficit to two games to one Sunday, beating Montreal 2-1 on Marc Savard's goal in overtime.
Savard scored at the 9:25 mark, firing a pass from Dennis Wideman past Canadiens' goaltender Carey Price.
Milan Lucic got the other goal for the Bruins, who had lost their previous 13 games to Montreal.
Tom Kostopoulos scored for the Canadiens.
Boston goalie Tim Thomas totaled 33 saves and Price finished with 29.
