MLB: Chicago White Sox 11, Detroit 0

CHICAGO, April 13 (UPI) -- Paul Konerko and Joe Crede each belted a grand slam home run Sunday, powering the Chicago White Sox past the Detroit Tigers 11-0.

Konerko also drove in a run with a single and Jermaine Dye pushed in another with a double.

Javier Vazquez (2-1) pitched seven shutout innings for the Sox, giving up five hits and striking out nine with no walks.

Detroit's Kenny Rogers (0-3) was the loser. Rogers gave up seven runs and seven hits in under four innings.

Chicago has won seven of nine games. The Tigers have the American League's worst record at 2-10.
