
INDIANAPOLIS, April 12 (UPI) -- Jason Richardson led the way with 26 points Saturday and the Charlotte Bobcats held on to beat the Indiana Pacers 107-103.
Charlotte led 94-84 with 7:07 left in the contest after Jared Dudley's layup. Indiana came within two points three times before it ended.
Dudley scored 19 with eight rebounds. Raymond Felton had 18 points and 12 assists. Nazr Mohammed had 16 points and 13 rebounds.
Emeka Okafor had 14 points and 18 rebounds, while Richardson added five rebounds for the Bobcats, who had lost five of their previous six contests at Conseco Fieldhouse.
Indiana was led by Danny Granger's 37 points with five assists. Mike Dunleavy had 22 points, seven assists and three rebounds while both Jeff Foster and Travis Diener scored 10 for the Pacers, who failed to gain ground on Atlanta for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
The Hawks lost to Boston 99-89.
